Testimonials

Rachel Lenore Angus gained her ISTD DDE teaching qualifications - Classical ballet and Modern Theatre - with us, and during this process, she impressed us with her professionalism, attention to detail and amazing work ethic

Rachel is a diligent teacher who has the ability to get the best out of younger and older students alike.

The best accolade I can give Rachel is that we would most definitely ask her to join our team if she ever returned to Shropshire!

Nicola Carmichael Philips LISTD, Principle at Carmichael’s School of Theatre Arts

Rachel is an extremely dedicated teacher with a strong professional attitude.

Apart from being a superb dancer with a varied performance CV, she is able to bring her caring and nurturing nature to teaching our very young children.

Her positive attitude is always apparent in the way she presents and conducts herself in her teaching duties. She takes a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our young dancers and her encouraging nature inspires to bring the best out of the children.

Richard Fisher, Karen Lowe PDTD, ARAD, Principles of Kensington Ballet

Rachel is an outstanding dance teacher and a gifted performer.

She has consistently demonstrated a unique blend of teaching prowess, teamwork, and artistic excellence that sets her apart. As a dance teacher, she possesses a rare ability to engage and inspire students.

Her talent for simplifying complex movements and fostering a supportive environment resulted in remarkable progress and enthusiastic learners. She consistently brings a positive and creative energy to our projects.

Johnny Autin, Creative Director, Autin Dance Theatre

Rachel was the perfect choice of choreographer for the requirements of our production.

Her professional and approachable manner made the students warm to her and yet they respected the challenges she provided for them, and work hard to meet her high expectations.

Rachel adapted the classic Bob Fosse choreographic style effectively for a range of performers with a diverse level of confidence and abilities. Our students created a visually exciting and impressive interpretation of some of the classic dances from ‘Chicago’.

The impact on the cast has been visible, with many girls subsequently being inspired to move more, dance outside of school and this is all thanks to Rachel. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.
